Enrico Caruso Signed Postcard - PSA DNA Authentic

Encapsulated and assessed "Authentic" by PSA DNA. The 3-1/4" x 5-1/4", black-and-white card (apparent VG/EX) has been signed in black fountain pen "9-10." Enrico Caruso (1873-1921) was the premier operatic tenor of his age. At a time when the world was evolving from the gaslight age to the electric age, Caruso made the transition most handily, becoming the first operatic vocalist to lend his powerful voice to the new field of electrical transcription recordings. He really was a household name, known to all classes, not just the elite who filled the opera houses where he was performing.
